Palladium Newsletter - January 2010

Dear Clients,

Welcome to our first newsletter.

We hope that you will find it a useful resource in keeping up to date with the rapidly changing world of matters 'Offshore'.

With recent concessions to banking secrecy in the likes of Switzerland and Austria, and the 'tax haven bashing' by G20, the paradigm of the offshore world has seemingly mutated overnight. We keep abreast of and digest these changes daily so that we may serve you better and live up to our goal of providing you the first class, one-stop service so often missing from our competitors' offerings.

Palladium News - New Zealand Trust Company
The last few months have proven very rewarding for the Palladium group, as we have seen such growth and progression in our client base and offering. We are particularly excited about the activation of our trust company in New Zealand (Palladium Trust Company (NZ) Limited) which can offer the benefits of offshore trusts such as capital, income and inheritance tax mitigation, be it for a family, an Employee Benefit Trust, off balance sheet vehicles or charitable purposes. In New Zealand our clients have the security of housing their wealth with professionals in an OECD and FATF founding country which has a solid infrastructure and, perhaps more even importantly, excellent international perception and reputation.

Palladium News - New Zealand Limited Partnerships
Through our NZ sister entity we can also offer New Zealand Family Limited Partnerships which offer our clients based in high tax jurisdictions the benefit of estate planning without the onerous anti-avoidance charges slapped on trusts in countries such as the UK. These vehicles can also benefit UK resident non-domiciled individuals who wish to 'park' surplus UK tax paid funds offshore.

Palladium News - ACORN Overseas Agent
More exciting news comes from our approval to act as a regulated 'Overseas Agent' for Anguillan International Business Companies. This enables us to establish international business corporations, modeled on the much favoured British Virgin Island 'offshore' company ('IBC'), 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with a one-hour incorporation time. We conduct these incorporations from our London office, reducing delays in documentation processes and the dissemination of information.

We are thrilled to be a part of one of the offshore world's most progressive incorporation system and to add this to our capability.

Palladium News - BVI Legal Advice
This has been an area of continuing success for us as we smash the racket of uncompetitive pricing (and sometimes poor service) from other lawyers in the BVI arena, especially as regards legal opinions to banks and other parties.
We also offer advice on Joint Ventures, Private Trust Companies, Fund set-ups (in Cayman also) and general corporate advice and welcome any enquiries as to these services.

German website
Our website is to be offered in German in the coming weeks, we then plan to make it available in Russian too!

On a final note I would like to take this opportunity to thank each of you for your support and assistance in the inception and growth of Palladium to date, and I hope that we may be of further service to you in the very near future.

Stephen
